Maker Faire Atlanta is a "family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness,” being held Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 4, from noon to 5 p.m. in downtown Decatur. The free event, open to the public, spotlights the creations of a variety of makers, including technology enthusiasts, crafters, garage tinkerers, and scientists.
