A daredevil climbed 140 feet up a frozen Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls attracts millions of visitors each year in to gaze at the stupendous force of nature. Simply staring is sufficient for most.


But for Will Gadd, 47 (a.k.aNational Geographic's Adventurer of the Year), looking at the massive waterfalls just wasn't enough



Gadd climbed 140 feet up the ice formations that line the sides of the falls to the top of Terrapin Point on Tuesday; he is the first person to actually climb up the falls, according to Red Bull, which sponsored the climb.
