After Micromax, now Lava mobiles has entered the Windows 10 laptop segment with the launch of Lava Twinpad. With the launch of Windows 10, Microsoft had made the OS available for free for all users with an genuine Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 version. We have seen quite a lot of laptops and 2-in-1s in the affordable category and the Lava Twinpad is one such new offering in this segment.
It comes with a detachable keyboard which lets you use the device as a tablet or a laptop depending upon your requirement. Another useful feature of this laptop is that the screen can be placed bidirectional, which means it can be placed in front side as well as on the reverse side.
The laptop is powered by 1.33 GHz with Turbo Boost upto 1.83 GHz Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3735F Processor coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM and 32GB Flash Storage. There is also option to expand the storage using SD card. It also comes with Windows 10 Home and is equipped with 2MP front and 2MP rear camera.
It features a detachable keyboard and also has 3G slot where you can use the internet using the SIM card. There is also, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 x USB Slots available on the laptop. There is 7400mAh battery powering the device.
The Lava Twinpad comes with dual front facing speakers and is priced Rs 15,999. It comes in silver color with metallic finish and will be available in all retail stores across India.
