A Content Curation Tool That Will Knock Everyone Out Of The Water

Sometimes it can feel like the internet is one big entertainment center. From images to music to video to books — you can find basically anything you could want online, if you know where to look.

But knowing where to look can be surprisingly hard, right? Sure, the big search engines have their use, but they’re not great for content discovery, as the biggest sites and companies tend to rise to the top while thousands of great smaller sources get lost in the wilderness.

What if I told you there was an easier way — a better way — to discover, buy, and enjoy great media online?

It’s called MediaHound.

MediaHound is a brand new content curation and collection tool that lets users discover, enjoy, and keep track of great media all in one place.

If you’re searching, say, for a movie you already know you love, you can find the movie, its soundtrack, articles written about it, images… The list is almost endless. It’s great for finding out everything you could ever want to know about entertainment “brands” that are spread out across multiple platforms.

MediaHound is also great for people who want to discover new, great entertainment. The site utilizes The Entertainment Graph to help people make connections between what they’re loving now and what they could be loving in the future. The Graph helps make sure that the content recommendations on MediaHound are on point, exposing users to brand new artists and sources that they’ve never heard of before.

“Finding, sharing and enjoying entertainment wasn’t always so difficult,” said Addison McCaleb, CEO of MediaHound. “Between exclusives, different devices, unique formats and personal subscriptions, the consumer is facing a fragmented world of hard-to-navigate options. MediaHound hopes to simplify their experience.”

The site is currently in private beta with plans to launch in the next few weeks. Their 20 person team in El Segundo, CA, has been hard at work putting the $4.5 million in Series A round that they closed late last year toward creating a central media hub for their users.

Are you ready for an easier way to discover, buy, and enjoy great media? Head over to MediaHound and sign up to be at the top of the list when they launch.
