Elevator Pitch:

Clara is your virtual employee.

Why It’s A Killer Startup:

One of the philosophies behind artificial intelligence is that human potential is wasted by monotonous, repetitive tasks and that creating computer programs and robots that could take care of those tasks for us would free up the human race for potentially limitless creativity. While I’m a little bit skeptical about that idea (have you guys seen that British show Humans yet??), I do like the idea of technology that helps with daily tasks.

Clara is the latest AI-type tool to land on my virtual desk. She’s specifically programmed to help you deal with the monotony of scheduling meetings. If you’re scheduling via email, just CC Clara in, and she’ll take care of it for you. She even has natural language capabilities, so you don’t have to worry about people getting offended by the fact that you’re letting a robot take care of things for you instead of attending to them personally.

Clara can also do things like reschedule your meetings if you’re sick, reach out when you’re trying to arrange a larger meeting, and add specific items to your emails, like a phone number or a building pass code. She’s a 24/7 employee who never gets sick and will always make sure your calendar is on track.

Oh, and if you’re not totally sold on AI yet, rest assured that Clara is backed up by professional executive assistants who will pick up the slack if her programming fails.

Ready to spend less time on the mundane and more time on the awesome? Head over to the Clara website and sign up to get added to the waitlist.
