There are a lot of things that Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin doesn't get about our modern tech-driven entertainment culture. In fact, he revels in the not getting of them
"I'm not into hot new apps," a smiling Martin told me earlier this week when I Meerkatted him and then had to explain what Meerkat was. Famously, the fantasy author still uses an MS-DOS-based word processor called Word Star to type out his 15,000-page tomes.
